Filter Press Machine Installation for Sludge Dewatering
A filter press machine is installed to remove excess water from sludge, making disposal or further handling easier and more efficient. During installation, the unit is positioned on a stable platform near the sludge source, connected to feed pumps and filtrate discharge lines. The system compresses the sludge between filter plates, separating solids (cake) and liquids (filtrate). This setup is widely used in wastewater treatment plants to minimize sludge volume and improve drying efficiency.
